REJUVENATE THROUGH THE FEET
Reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that works on specific points on the feet to support relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing. These points are believed to correspond with different areas of the body, helping to encourage the body’s natural healing processes.
During a reflexology treatment, light pressure is applied to these reflex points in a slow, soothing way. This helps calm the nervous system, ease tension and promote a deep sense of relaxation. Many people find reflexology supportive for stress, sleep, hormonal balance and general wellbeing.
Each foot contains thousands of nerve endings, and detailed foot maps show how these reflex points relate to different organs, glands and systems throughout the body. By gently stimulating these areas, reflexology is believed to activate neural pathways and promote a sense of harmony throughout the body.
Reflexology is suitable for all ages and is a gentle, non‑invasive therapy that can be adapted to individual needs.
Reflexology is far from a modern trend - it’s a therapy with deep historical roots stretching back over 5,000 years. Ancient Egyptians practiced forms of foot and hand treatment to promote healing. In fact, a pictograph discovered in a tomb dating to around 2000 BCE depicts an early version of reflexology being performed.
Today’s reflexology is based on the theory that the body is divided into zones, and that applying pressure to specific points on the feet or hands can help address imbalances elsewhere in the body. This holistic approach encourages the body’s natural healing processes and supports overall well-being.

While reflexology remains at the heart of our practice, we also offer Indian Head Massage (IHM) because it works directly on the upper‑body tension points, helping to release tight muscles, calm the mind, and encourage deep relaxation.
IHM complements reflexology beautifully and supports clients in a different yet equally holistic way. IHM naturally fits alongside reflexology because it focuses on key tension areas - the head, neck, shoulders, and face - while calming the nervous system.
Both therapies are gentle, non‑invasive, and suitable for all ages, making them versatile options for supporting overall well‑being. Offering both therapies allows clients to be supported more holistically, giving a choice of treatments that work together or as standalone treatments.
